Barangay Bambong Daku

Barangay Bambong Daku is a small barangay in the municipality of Ramon Magsaysay, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bambong Daku had a population of 715. This made it the 16th largest of 27 barangays in Ramon Magsaysay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bambong Daku accounted for approximately 2.62% of the total population of Ramon Magsaysay, which stood at 27,280 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bambong Daku changed from 649 to 715, a shift of +10.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Ramon Magsaysay. Barangay Bambong Daku is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
