Barangay Bagaobawan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bagaobawan is one of the administrative divisions of Rapu-Rapu in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bagaobawan had a population of 734. This made it the 21st largest of 34 barangays in Rapu-Rapu by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagaobawan accounted for approximately 2.03% of the total population of Rapu-Rapu, which stood at 36,151 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bagaobawan moving from 769 residents to 734 residents, an intercensal change of -4.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
