Barangay Binosawan

Barangay Binosawan is a small barangay in the municipality of Rapu-Rapu, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Binosawan had a population of 723. This made it the 22nd largest of 34 barangays in Rapu-Rapu by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binosawan accounted for approximately 2.00% of the total population of Rapu-Rapu, which stood at 36,151 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Binosawan moving from 747 residents to 723 residents, an intercensal change of -3.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
