Barangay Taburi

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Taburi is one of the administrative divisions of Rizal in Palawan, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Taburi had a population of 5,875. This made it the 4th largest of 11 barangays in Rizal by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Taburi accounted for approximately 10.46% of the total population of Rizal, which stood at 56,162 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Taburi changed from 5,337 to 5,875, a shift of +10.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Rizal. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Taburi as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Rizal is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Taburi, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
