Barangay Balubohan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Balubohan is one of the administrative divisions of Rizal in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Balubohan had a population of 480. This made it the 19th largest of 22 barangays in Rizal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balubohan accounted for approximately 3.19% of the total population of Rizal, which stood at 15,052 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Balubohan changed from 483 to 480, a shift of -0.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Rizal. Barangay Balubohan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Rizal is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Balubohan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
