Barangay Nilabo

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Nilabo is one of the administrative divisions of Rizal in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Nilabo had a population of 384. This made it the 21st largest of 22 barangays in Rizal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nilabo accounted for approximately 2.55% of the total population of Rizal, which stood at 15,052 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nilabo moving from 411 residents to 384 residents, an intercensal change of -6.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Nilabo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
