Barangay Vive

Barangay Vive forms part of Ronda, a municipality in Cebu, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Vive had a population of 861. This made it the 13th largest of 14 barangays in Ronda by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Vive accounted for approximately 4.10% of the total population of Ronda, which stood at 21,005 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 865 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 861 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.5%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Vive is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ronda is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Vive, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Vive ranks 928th by 2020 population. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
