Barangay Little Tanauan

Barangay Little Tanauan forms part of Roxas, a municipality in Oriental Mindoro, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Little Tanauan had a population of 983. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in Roxas by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Little Tanauan accounted for approximately 1.67% of the total population of Roxas, which stood at 58,849 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Little Tanauan changed from 881 to 983, a shift of +11.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Roxas. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Little Tanauan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Roxas is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Little Tanauan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Oriental Mindoro, which contains 426 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Little Tanauan ranks 348th by 2020 population.
