Barangay San Aquilino

Barangay San Aquilino is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Roxas, located in the province of Oriental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Aquilino had a population of 3,581. This made it the 7th largest of 20 barangays in Roxas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Aquilino accounted for approximately 6.09% of the total population of Roxas, which stood at 58,849 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Aquilino moving from 3,245 residents to 3,581 residents, an intercensal change of +10.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay San Aquilino is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
