Barangay Malcampo

Barangay Malcampo is a small barangay in the municipality of Roxas, located in the province of Palawan, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Malcampo had a population of 1,951. This made it the 14th largest of 31 barangays in Roxas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malcampo accounted for approximately 2.80% of the total population of Roxas, which stood at 69,624 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Malcampo moving from 1,779 residents to 1,951 residents, an intercensal change of +9.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Malcampo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
