Barangay Imbiao

Barangay Imbiao is a small barangay in the municipality of Roxas, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Imbiao had a population of 1,597. This made it the 14th largest of 26 barangays in Roxas by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Imbiao accounted for approximately 2.43% of the total population of Roxas, which stood at 65,839 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Imbiao moving from 1,627 residents to 1,597 residents, an intercensal change of -1.8%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Imbiao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Roxas is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Imbiao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
