Barangay Aguid

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Aguid is one of the administrative divisions of Sagada in Mountain Province, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aguid had a population of 647. This made it the 8th largest of 19 barangays in Sagada by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aguid accounted for approximately 5.62% of the total population of Sagada, which stood at 11,510 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Aguid moving from 681 residents to 647 residents, an intercensal change of -5.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Aguid is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sagada is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aguid, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
