Barangay Dibul

Barangay Dibul is a small barangay in the municipality of Saguday, located in the province of Quirino, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dibul had a population of 1,338. This made it the 6th largest of 9 barangays in Saguday by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dibul accounted for approximately 7.81% of the total population of Saguday, which stood at 17,137 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dibul changed from 1,376 to 1,338, a shift of -2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Saguday. Barangay Dibul is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Saguday is a municipality comprising 9 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dibul, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
