Barangay Salvacion

Barangay Salvacion is a small barangay in the municipality of Saguday, located in the province of Quirino, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Salvacion had a population of 1,578. This made it the 4th largest of 9 barangays in Saguday by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Salvacion accounted for approximately 9.21% of the total population of Saguday, which stood at 17,137 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Salvacion changed from 1,405 to 1,578, a shift of +12.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Saguday. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Salvacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
