Barangay Binoni

Barangay Binoni forms part of Salug, a municipality in Zamboanga Del Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Binoni had a population of 1,817. This made it the 5th largest of 23 barangays in Salug by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binoni accounted for approximately 5.65% of the total population of Salug, which stood at 32,134 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Binoni moving from 1,444 residents to 1,817 residents, an intercensal change of +25.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
