Barangay Dalupirit

Barangay Dalupirit is a small barangay in the municipality of San Antonio, located in the province of Northern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dalupirit had a population of 1,852. This made it the 1st largest of 10 barangays in San Antonio by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dalupirit accounted for approximately 20.85% of the total population of San Antonio, which stood at 8,882 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Dalupirit moving from 1,874 residents to 1,852 residents, an intercensal change of -1.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dalupirit as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Antonio is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dalupirit, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
