Barangay Imbesad-an

Barangay Imbesad-an is a small barangay in the municipality of San Enrique, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Imbesad-an had a population of 527. This made it the 26th largest of 28 barangays in San Enrique by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Imbesad-an accounted for approximately 1.43% of the total population of San Enrique, which stood at 36,911 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Imbesad-an moving from 410 residents to 527 residents, an intercensal change of +28.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Imbesad-an as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
