Barangay San Isidro

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Isidro is one of the administrative divisions of San Fernando in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 4,538. This made it the 7th largest of 21 barangays in San Fernando by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 6.28% of the total population of San Fernando, which stood at 72,224 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,128 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,538 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Isidro is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Fernando is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
