Barangay Kibongcog

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Kibongcog is one of the administrative divisions of San Fernando in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kibongcog had a population of 2,281. This made it the 9th largest of 24 barangays in San Fernando by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kibongcog accounted for approximately 3.62% of the total population of San Fernando, which stood at 63,045 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kibongcog changed from 1,935 to 2,281, a shift of +17.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Fernando. Barangay Kibongcog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Fernando is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kibongcog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Kibongcog ranks 229th by 2020 population.
