Barangay Santa Cruz

Barangay Santa Cruz forms part of San Francisco, a municipality in Cebu, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 4th largest of 15 barangays in San Francisco by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. The barangay recorded 5,465 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,035 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santa Cruz is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Francisco is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Cruz, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
