Barangay Pulong Tamo

Situated in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, Barangay Pulong Tamo is one of 36 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

This made it the 28th largest of 36 barangays in San Ildefonso by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pulong Tamo accounted for approximately 1.90% of the total population of San Ildefonso, which stood at 115,713 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,987 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,198 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pulong Tamo as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Ildefonso is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pulong Tamo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
