Barangay San Vicente

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Vicente is one of the administrative divisions of San Jacinto in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 4,871. This made it the 2nd largest of 19 barangays in San Jacinto by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 10.98% of the total population of San Jacinto, which stood at 44,351 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Vicente moving from 4,027 residents to 4,871 residents, an intercensal change of +21.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Vicente as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Jacinto is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Vicente ranks 86th by 2020 population.
