Barangay Calansayan

Situated in San Jose, Batangas, Barangay Calansayan is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Calansayan had a population of 4,275. This made it the 5th largest of 33 barangays in San Jose by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calansayan accounted for approximately 5.35% of the total population of San Jose, which stood at 79,868 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,214 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,275 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Calansayan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
