Barangay San Antonio (Pob.)

Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of San Jose, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) had a population of 1,015. This made it the 21st largest of 29 barangays in San Jose by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.31% of the total population of San Jose, which stood at 43,973 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 921 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,015 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Antonio (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Jose is a municipality comprising 29 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Antonio (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
