Barangay III (Pob.)

Situated in San Luis, Aurora, Barangay III (Pob.) is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay III (Pob.) had a population of 842. This made it the 13th largest of 18 barangays in San Luis by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay III (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.82% of the total population of San Luis, which stood at 29,824 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 730 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 842 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +15.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay III (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Luis is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay III (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
