Barangay Nonong Senior

Barangay Nonong Senior is a large barangay in the municipality of San Luis, located in the province of Aurora, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nonong Senior had a population of 5,206. This made it the 1st largest of 18 barangays in San Luis by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nonong Senior accounted for approximately 17.46% of the total population of San Luis, which stood at 29,824 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Nonong Senior changed from 4,278 to 5,206, a shift of +21.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Luis. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nonong Senior as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Luis is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nonong Senior, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Aurora, which contains 151 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Nonong Senior ranks 6th by 2020 population.
