Barangay San Jose

Barangay San Jose is a large barangay in the municipality of San Luis, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Jose had a population of 7,384. This made it the 1st largest of 17 barangays in San Luis by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Jose accounted for approximately 12.61% of the total population of San Luis, which stood at 58,551 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Jose moving from 7,463 residents to 7,384 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. Barangay San Jose is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Luis is a municipality comprising 17 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Jose, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
