Barangay Estrella

Barangay Estrella forms part of San Mateo, a municipality in Isabela, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Estrella had a population of 1,480. This made it the 21st largest of 33 barangays in San Mateo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Estrella accounted for approximately 2.22% of the total population of San Mateo, which stood at 66,663 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Estrella moving from 1,538 residents to 1,480 residents, an intercensal change of -3.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
