Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of San Simon, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 3,947. This made it the 7th largest of 14 barangays in San Simon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 6.67% of the total population of San Simon, which stood at 59,182 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Isidro changed from 3,345 to 3,947, a shift of +18.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in San Simon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Simon is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Isidro, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Isidro ranks 218th by 2020 population.
