Barangay Santa Monica

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Santa Monica is one of the administrative divisions of San Simon in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Monica had a population of 5,762. This made it the 4th largest of 14 barangays in San Simon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Monica accounted for approximately 9.74% of the total population of San Simon, which stood at 59,182 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,828 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,762 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +19.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santa Monica is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

San Simon is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Monica, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
