Barangay Manlibunan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Manlibunan is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Cruz in Marinduque, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Manlibunan had a population of 828. This made it the 32nd largest of 55 barangays in Santa Cruz by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Manlibunan accounted for approximately 1.51% of the total population of Santa Cruz, which stood at 54,692 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Manlibunan moving from 889 residents to 828 residents, an intercensal change of -6.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Manlibunan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
