Barangay Magsaysay

Situated in Santa Fe, Romblon, Barangay Magsaysay is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Magsaysay had a population of 1,665. This made it the 6th largest of 11 barangays in Santa Fe by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Magsaysay accounted for approximately 9.35% of the total population of Santa Fe, which stood at 17,802 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Magsaysay moving from 1,409 residents to 1,665 residents, an intercensal change of +18.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Magsaysay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Fe is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Magsaysay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
