Barangay Okoy

Barangay Okoy is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santa Fe, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Okoy had a population of 4,692. This made it the 2nd largest of 10 barangays in Santa Fe by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Okoy accounted for approximately 13.61% of the total population of Santa Fe, which stood at 34,471 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Okoy moving from 3,916 residents to 4,692 residents, an intercensal change of +19.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Okoy is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
