Barangay Poblacion 2

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Poblacion 2 is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Maria in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion 2 had a population of 550. This made it the 20th largest of 20 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion 2 accounted for approximately 2.14% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 25,758 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion 2 moving from 598 residents to 550 residents, an intercensal change of -8.0%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
