Barangay Inayapan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Inayapan is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Maria in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Inayapan had a population of 810. This made it the 20th largest of 25 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Inayapan accounted for approximately 2.35% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 34,511 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Inayapan changed from 868 to 810, a shift of -6.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Santa Maria. Barangay Inayapan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Maria is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Inayapan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
