Barangay Macasipac

Barangay Macasipac is a small barangay in the municipality of Santa Maria, located in the province of Laguna, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Macasipac had a population of 584. This made it the 23rd largest of 25 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Macasipac accounted for approximately 1.69% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 34,511 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Macasipac changed from 566 to 584, a shift of +3.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santa Maria. Barangay Macasipac is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
