Barangay Parang Ng Buho

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Parang Ng Buho is one of the administrative divisions of Santa Maria in Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Parang Ng Buho had a population of 949. This made it the 16th largest of 25 barangays in Santa Maria by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Parang Ng Buho accounted for approximately 2.75% of the total population of Santa Maria, which stood at 34,511 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 886 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 949 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Parang Ng Buho as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
