Barangay Santa Teresita

Situated in Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Santa Teresita is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Teresita had a population of 1,739. This made it the 23rd largest of 33 barangays in Santa Rosa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Teresita accounted for approximately 2.30% of the total population of Santa Rosa, which stood at 75,649 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,626 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,739 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Teresita as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santa Rosa is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Teresita, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
