Barangay Canlumacad

Situated in Santander, Cebu, Barangay Canlumacad is one of 10 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Canlumacad had a population of 875. This made it the 10th largest of 10 barangays in Santander by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Canlumacad accounted for approximately 4.72% of the total population of Santander, which stood at 18,527 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Canlumacad changed from 887 to 875, a shift of -1.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Santander. Barangay Canlumacad is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santander is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Canlumacad, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
