Barangay Vacunero

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Vacunero is one of the administrative divisions of Santo Domingo in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Vacunero had a population of 1,156. This made it the 8th largest of 36 barangays in Santo Domingo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Vacunero accounted for approximately 3.98% of the total population of Santo Domingo, which stood at 29,041 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,121 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,156 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Vacunero as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
