Barangay San Vicente

Barangay San Vicente is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santo Tomas, located in the province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 2,555. This made it the 18th largest of 19 barangays in Santo Tomas by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 1.99% of the total population of Santo Tomas, which stood at 128,667 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Vicente changed from 2,307 to 2,555, a shift of +10.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Santo Tomas. Barangay San Vicente is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Santo Tomas is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
