Barangay Patac

Barangay Patac is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Santo Tomas, located in the province of La Union, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Patac had a population of 3,405. This made it the 1st largest of 24 barangays in Santo Tomas by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Patac accounted for approximately 8.34% of the total population of Santo Tomas, which stood at 40,846 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Patac moving from 3,149 residents to 3,405 residents, an intercensal change of +8.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Patac is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
