Barangay Talaan Aplaya

Barangay Talaan Aplaya is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Sariaya, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talaan Aplaya had a population of 3,011. This made it the 29th largest of 43 barangays in Sariaya by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talaan Aplaya accounted for approximately 1.86% of the total population of Sariaya, which stood at 161,868 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Talaan Aplaya changed from 2,980 to 3,011, a shift of +1.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Sariaya. Barangay Talaan Aplaya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sariaya is a municipality comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Talaan Aplaya, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
