Barangay Santa Rosa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santa Rosa is one of the administrative divisions of Sarrat in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Rosa had a population of 973. This made it the 11th largest of 24 barangays in Sarrat by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Rosa accounted for approximately 3.86% of the total population of Sarrat, which stood at 25,186 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santa Rosa changed from 1,013 to 973, a shift of -3.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Sarrat. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Rosa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
