Barangay San Juan

Barangay San Juan is a small barangay in the municipality of Sergio osmeña Sr., located in the province of Zamboanga Del Norte, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Juan had a population of 938. This made it the 12th largest of 39 barangays in Sergio osmeña Sr. by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 2.94% of the total population of Sergio osmeña Sr., which stood at 31,942 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Juan moving from 794 residents to 938 residents, an intercensal change of +18.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Juan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
