Barangay Lobgob

Situated in Sevilla, Bohol, Barangay Lobgob is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lobgob had a population of 812. This made it the 8th largest of 13 barangays in Sevilla by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lobgob accounted for approximately 7.14% of the total population of Sevilla, which stood at 11,376 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 797 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 812 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.9%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Lobgob is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Sevilla is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lobgob, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
