Barangay Labasan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Labasan is one of the administrative divisions of Siay in Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Labasan had a population of 980. This made it the 19th largest of 29 barangays in Siay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Labasan accounted for approximately 2.41% of the total population of Siay, which stood at 40,585 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Labasan moving from 926 residents to 980 residents, an intercensal change of +5.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Labasan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
