Situated in Sibuco, Zamboanga Del Norte, Barangay Litawan is one of 28 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

This made it the 19th largest of 28 barangays in Sibuco by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality.
