Barangay Hoyo

Barangay Hoyo is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Silang, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Hoyo had a population of 2,424. This made it the 45th largest of 64 barangays in Silang by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Hoyo accounted for approximately 0.82% of the total population of Silang, which stood at 295,644 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Hoyo moving from 928 residents to 2,424 residents, an intercensal change of +161.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Hoyo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
