Barangay Pulong Saging

Barangay Pulong Saging is a small barangay in the municipality of Silang, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pulong Saging had a population of 1,980. This made it the 51st largest of 64 barangays in Silang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pulong Saging accounted for approximately 0.67% of the total population of Silang, which stood at 295,644 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,546 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,980 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +28.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Pulong Saging is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Silang is a municipality comprising 64 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pulong Saging, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
